Our machine shop which folks often call Dixie Machine has provided Birmingham, Alabama and the entire United States with precision machine work for 30 years. We are nationally known for the precision machining of large shafts, fan shafts, hubs, screws, and sleeves.
We have recently added a Mazak Integrex 50Y. This machine has 4 axis capabilites to drill holes, cut keyways and splines, and mill flats while still in the lathe. With a 28" swing and 80" centers, this machine will easily handle stub shafts for auger screws, drive and idle end shafts, retainer plates, press column shafts and much more.
A complete job shop located in Birmingham, Alabama. We have 48000 square feet of machining equipment. Turning, millling, boring all your job shop needs. CNC and manual machines.
